Barbecue

Laura Reiley’s most recent column covers 10 barbecue joints in the bay area. JB’s excited about trying out the barbecued tofu at Boo’s soon.

I wish St. Pete’s would publish LR’s pieces blog-style, so I could just drop a link to her work in the side column.

Seminole Heights Restaurants

Tommy in Old Seminole Heights post a list of restaurants in Seminole Heights drawn from the Business Guild of Seminole Heights.

Mapping Taste

Vince has pinpointed his favorite Tampa restaurants on Google maps. This is a great idea! He credits Eric at Laney’s.info, who maps his favorites here.

The Barefoot Contessa’s Avocado Salad

About a month ago I went to a little end-of-the-semester shindig and the hostess provided us with a whole table of goodies. One that really caught my palate was the following, which turns out to be The Barefoot Contessa’s Avocado Salad. I made up my own batch not too long ago, and it was great. [...]
