Robin “Roblimo” Miller shot this short video promoting the GaYbor Coalition.

“In the summer of 2007, 10 gay and gay-friendly business owners in Ybor City got together to combat the area’s high commercial vacancy rate, reputation for thuggish behavior, and general aura of depression. By the summer of 2008, the GaYbor Coalition had 103 member businesses and had made a notable difference in Ybor City. And the growth continues….”

The economic forecasts for Tampa are causing a lot of handwringing, but one tool in confronting economic hard times is through cooperation and coalition-building.
