I’m a tremendous Brian Eno fan. Not only has he been one of the most creative musical minds of the twentieth century, but his work with the Long Now Foundation transformed the way I think about history and the future, and I’m still trying to work his concept of “the big here” into how I live in Tampa.

In addition to his work as rock star (Roxy Music, 801), super-producer (Talking Heads, U2, Paul Simon, Coldplay), avante-garde composer (pioneer of ambient music, pioneer in generative music) Eno composed the six-second start-up music-sound of the Windows 95 operating system.

Here’s a stream of his latest collaboration with David Byrne, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.
