Wow. I must admit to being surprised at the response to the post about some crappy service at Splitsville (Splitsville, You Suck) but it seems like the attention might have helped sway Splitsville policy.
From Monkey Love, the original author of the post, comes this update -
“I just talked to Mr. Knox VIA TELEPHONE and he explained they have taken it seriously and addressed the issue with their management team.
He accepted that it was a significant mess up and they are taking steps to keep it from happening to anyone else in the future.
That’s all I needed to hear. Hopefully it doesn’t happen to anyone else. That’s why I wrote anything about it in the first place.
That is truly all I care about.
Long live Splitsville.”
Who knows what “taking steps” might mean, but hopefully it means banishing foolish hoity-toity dress codes.
