Tommy in Old Seminole Heights reports that the city council approved Sangria’s requests, so they are one step closer to opening next to the Starbucks at Hillsborough and Central. (Here’s more about the Sangria’s proposal from TBO.com.)
He’s also spreading the rumor that Merino’s may re-open in the space soon to be vacated by the Antiquarian bookstore. (The bookstore is moving to new digs at the beginning of December). I report this rumor only because I really, really want it to be true.
