Oh, this will be fun. Mel Martinez announced he will not run for re-election in 2010.
Who will be the next senator from Florida? Jeb Bush? Alex Sink? Wexler? Diaz-Balart? I’d wager that the job is Jeb’s if he wants it.
(UPDATE: And I see I’m not the only one thinking this. The Buzz contacted Jeb’s office and got this response – “Governor Bush has not given serious consideration to running for the U.S. Senate, or any other office at this point.”)
