The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services keeps a page called Marketing Florida Agriculture that’s full of useful information.
Here’s a list of farmer’s markets from across the state. They list five in Hillsborough County, Brandon Fresh Market (which no longer has a location and so seems to be closed for good), Plant City Sunday market (but the URL they give goes to the Keel and Curley Winery, perhaps they’re related?), Sweetwater Organic Community Farm, the Tampa Wholesale Produce Market, and Ybor City Saturday Market.
There’s also this handy chart showing peak availability times for fruits and vegetables, and this page about organic food.
And this list of wineries and vineyards.

Awesome, I wish people would buy more local produce. It’s always cheaper and usually tastes better than anything you find at supermarkets.
I’ve collected quite a bit of info about local agriculture. If I ever get organized and productive perhaps I’ll be able to churn out a few more posts about how to eat locally.
