Another spot-on column from Matt Taibbi. He touches on one of the reasons I’m actually sympathetic to the Tea Party protesters.
“You teabaggers are in the process of being marginalized by your own ostensible party leaders in exactly the same way the anti-war crowd was abandoned by the Democratic party elders in the earlier part of this decade.”
The Tea Partiers are frustrated because they feel their party hasn’t pushed hard enough to the right. I’m frustrated because the Democratic party hasn’t pushed hard enough to the left.
Maybe we can coordinate and make 2010 a high-water mark for third party candidates.
