These are sad times at the Re/Creating Tampa household. Snickers the dog died Monday.

We got Snickers from a shelter in Oklahoma in 2001. She had been rescued from an abandoned house along with her sisters Almond Joy and Mounds.
When Jennifer and I met she was the dog lover and I was indifferent. Snickers’ kindness, intelligence, devotion, and overall awesomeness taught me how deep and fulfilling canine companionship can be.
Snickers was a great friend. We will miss her.

I’m so sorry to hear this. There’s nothing like the unconditional love of a dog. We’ll be thinking about you when we take ours out for a walk tonight.
Thanks. Give him/her a treat from me.
my condolences. she was a sweet dog. y’all gave her a happy home and a good life.
so sorry!
As soon as I read the blog post title, I said, out loud, “Noo!!”
I am incredibly sorry for your loss. The short time I was able to spend with you and Jennifer was made even more bright and wonderful by having Snicky around. Please give my regards to Jennifer. Snicky was always a friend and always excited to see me…more than I can say for most people.
Again, my deepest condolences.
Thanks guys. There’s really no way to express how heartbreaking this has been.
I lost a puppy earlier this year and I was heartbroken. I only knew him for a few months, dont know how you feel today, but much sympathy.
Such a sweet pic of Snicky, with her trademark doggy smile. She was a lucky pup to have had such a happy life with you and JB.
I know it must be tough. You have my deepest sympathies.
