I finally made it over to Merino’s Deli in Seminole Heights. Merino’s is a great addition to the Seminole Heights neighborhood. Seating inside is a little cramped, but there’s more seating outside.
I had a club on wheat, chips, a pickle, and a Barq’s root beer for just over $10. It was great. Non-specialty sandwiches cost just under $5. They also serve chili, soups, pasta, salads, and wraps.
While I was there Merino’s was participating in a blood drive, which, I think, demonstrates the kind of neighbor they’re working to be.
They also have a pet friendly outdoor deck “with available food and water bowls” which will make JB happy.
It’s great to have an independent sandwich shop move into the neighborhood! Next time I think I’ll try the Ruben.

Merino’s is open M-F 11-7 and Saturday 11-5, and is located on Florida between Sligh and Hanna.
