My antipathy for all things St. Pete grows as St. Pete Times’ columnist Ernest Hooper (or his editor) can’t be bothered to even call El Taconazo by its proper name and calls it El Taco Nacho instead. More evidence that accuracy is not really a cherished trait among journalists. He also notes that you haven’t live in Tampa until you’ve eaten a burger at Five Guys. Riiight, cuz Tampa’s all about the chains. You don’t really have the taste of Tampa until you do something you can also do in DC, or Virginia, or Connecticut, or Pennsylvania, or one of the other 200+ locations across the eastern US.

Mild Bill eats at Golden Phoenix and gives it an A+.
