I have never been to Fuji Sushi, but an Eating Tampa reader emailed me recently to recommend it. (Thanks!)

“Fuji Sushi Restaurant in Tampa, it’s on Dale Mabry – between Henderson and Bay to Bay. I have been going there for about 8 years – pretty much since they opened and if it weren’t for the fact that I live in the sticks, I would be there at least once a week. My parents, who are also avid “sushiers” love the place too and they think its the best sushi they’ve ever had! – Which if you knew my parents it would raise your brows, as they have lived in places like Barcelona and London and they thought they had had the best of the best, but I surprised them when I took them there. I really recommend the special sushi menu, either on the board or off their menu. Casual dining, pleasant atmosphere and highly recommended!”

I’m adding it to my list of restaurants to try.
