I may have to move to SoHo.

This morning we ventured down south and ate breakfast at Daily Eats. Daily Eats definitely has that SoHo hipster atmosphere, and seems kind of fancy for a diner, but the breakfast was great and I’ll probably be eating the leftovers for lunch.

I went simple this morning with the Bacon & Eggs Breakfast Bowl, which is eggs scrambled with bacon and served in a bowl on top of cheddar cheese covered home fries. JB ate the the Tijuana Bowl, which is scrambled eggs on home fries, but topped with veggie chili and guacamole. One bowl was $7 and the other $8, but the portions were heaping enough that we both brought about half of our breakfast home. The breakfast bowls seem to be a new addition to their menu, and aren’t listed in the online .pdf.

Daily Eats is part of the Ciccio and Tony’s empire, which also includes The Lime, Water, and Delicious Catering.

It was absolutely worth the drive, and delicious enough we’ll be back for lunch and dinner. It is a little pricey, though. Two breakfast bowls, and two coffees came to $21.83.
